SEIS 2010
Today, there is a growing need to evolve more intelligent software systems in order to respond to the increasing complexity and sophistication of automating human tasks. There is indeed the need for ‘smart’ software systems in virtually all fields of application ranging from business, commerce, engineering, science, arts, medicine and much more. Software need become more intelligent. Additionally, it is also essential that these intelligent software applications are made deployable on diverse platforms such as mobile, web, and grid. These kinds of systems can only be realized when innovative problem solving concepts and technologies from the field of Artificial Intelligence are integrated into the software development process to produce intelligent software systems or intelligent components wrapped in software.
The SEIS Conference and Workshop is intended to provide a forum for exchanging experience and ideas among researchers and practitioners who are concerned with the need to develop more intelligent software systems. It is out to harvest emergent ideas, concepts, theories, tools, technologies, algorithms, process models, hybrid methodologies that would engender the development of high utility intelligent software systems in various fields of application.
